Blue meets grey in your aspect.
Wings effortlessly lifting you
Graceful legs trail behind.
My presence startles you heavenward.
In a corner of the sky,
Orange and pink
Shamelessly vie for the suns attention
He plummets to the West.
Opposite, the moon
Indiscreetly shows herself in his glow.
The mist rolls down the hills
and along the water’s edge.
My heart pounds
As a lark screams warning at my approach.
Ears tingling,
They now blush fiery red at the seductive,
Caressing touch of the icy wind.
